Our data is spread over ERP, MES and file shares. Can we start anyway?
Yes. The first step is finding the process that has enough data today. One system is often enough for a first use case; the rest follows once it runs.
Does AI on the shop floor need the works council?
If it can monitor behaviour or performance, yes (§ 87 (1) no. 6 BetrVG). We plan the agreement into the project from the start.
Do we need new machines?
No. Many use cases start with the data your machines already produce, plus cameras or sensors where they are missing.
