- No Swiss AI act. In February 2025 the Federal Council decided to ratify the Council of Europe AI Convention with sector-specific changes; a consultation draft is due by the end of 2026.
- Data protection
- revFADP, the revised Federal Act on Data Protection.

- FINMA for financial institutions; professional and banking secrecy.
